Vocational Rehabilitation Co-ordinator
Monday-Friday: 37.5 hours per week (Full-Time)
Salary £38000 per annum, with 33 days annual leave entitlement, including Bank Holidays
Unlocking Potential is a charity working with children and young adults with social, emotional and mental health needs. We are looking for an enthusiastic Vocational Rehabilitation Co-ordinator who wants to develop their career in our London based charity. The role involves developing and delivering a number of pathways for young adults with social, emotional and mental health needs.
You will be passionate about raising aspirations and improving employment opportunities for young adults working as part of the young adult’s team, the successful candidate will be responsible for working in partnership with relevant organisations and looking for innovative models of delivery.
Applicants will need to have acquired qualifications degree (or equivalent in Occupational therapy/Social worker/Youth worker). The applicant must have experience in working with children and young adults. Working in a charity, third sector or similar would be advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence, as you will be liaising at all levels of the charity as well as externally in the community. Good knowledge of current policy and practice in relation to young adults is also required especially in relation to social, emotional and mental health needs.
