Child Session Rating Scale
The Child Session Rating Scale (CSRS) is a feedback measure tool we introduced in 2024. It is typically used in therapeutic or educational settings to gather feedback from children regarding their experience during a specific session or intervention.
It is administered and discussed at the end of every session. The CSRS assesses the child’s perception of the key themes of the therapy session such as their relationship with the therapist, relevance of the content and overall satisfaction. It also helps therapists gauge the child’s subjective experience, adjust their approach, and improve the therapeutic process.
After a therapy session, the child is asked to rate their experience on a simple scale, typically from 0 to 10, with 0 being the worst and 10 being the best.
The child rates aspects such as how well they connected with the therapist, how helpful the session was, and their overall satisfaction.
