Make a real difference to the mental health and wellbeing of children by donating to UP today
1 in 6 children have a diagnosable mental health problem and schools and other statutory services are struggling to meet their needs. UP’s high quality therapeutic services are needed now more than ever and our partnership approach with schools enable us to meet the needs of the most vulnerable children. The Unlocking Potential Schools Programme is an in-school mental health service with a dedicated focus on mental and emotional health and wellbeing to support the education of children and young people. This comprehensive programme aims to empower and support children and young people through a range of targeted interventions.
The programme operates in 26 schools, primarily focusing on 24 primary schools across 10 London boroughs, including Brent, Camden, Hackney, Havering, Lambeth, Lewisham, Southwark, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth, and Westminster. By partnering directly with schools, Unlocking Potential integrates its services within the educational environment, facilitating seamless collaboration between UP, school staff, families, and children and ensuring that mental health services are accessible to the most vulnerable children.
