Now that lockdown has become a little less strict – some of us have gone back to school and we’re able to meet with our families and friends again from a safe distance – we might be starting to think about all the things we’d like to do when lockdown really ends. To help us imagine what life will be like, we want everyone to create a piece of art to illustrate their hopes and dreams for life post lockdown.
Sometimes, when the world around us is a bit upside down, it can help to take a moment to stop and think about all the brilliant things that the future might hold.
You might be dreaming about a change that will benefit the planet? Perhaps your hope is to do with your community or school? Or maybe it’s something that’s just for you, such as someone you’re excited to see or being able to eat your favourite burger.
You could make anything! A drawing, a painting or an abstract masterpiece crafted out of cereal boxes and odds and ends from around your home.
We are going to put all your artworks together to create a collage of hopes and dreams which we will put on the UP website, Twitter, and Instagram pages for the world to see.
Send a clear photo of your piece of art, along with your name, age
and school to UPartchallenge@up.org.uk.
We are really excited to see what you are wishing for!
